Do you have cars at Denver International Airport (DIA)?

Yes. We have a fleet of Jeeps, Subarus, and Highlanders at Wally Park Denver. There is a shuttle from the airport to Wally Park where your car will be ready for you.

You offer self-check in? How does it work?

Self-Check In is available for certain vehicles at certain locations. It is not available at the airport.
If applicable, self-check in will be provided as an option when you book your car. Instructions will accompany your self-check in rental.

Do your cars have ski and snowboard racks or roof boxes?

Yes. The majority of our cars will have either a ski rack or a Yakima Roof Box from December through March. Jeeps will have Yakima Ski & Snowboard Racks. Subarus and Toyota Highlanders will have Yakima Boxes.

Do I need insurance to rent from Cars for Colorado?

Cars for Colorado can provide you insurance or you can provide us with your cars insurance information and we can see if it will cover the car while you rent it. Either way, you will need to be insured to rent one of our cars.

What is the best advice for renting a car from Cars for Colorado?

The more prepared you are for your trip, the better for both of us. This enables us to help you the most. Be prepared with your valid driver’s license, proof of insurance (unless you plan to obtain insurance through us), the type of car you’d like to rent, your rental dates and times, your desired location, a major credit card, and a smartphone for communication and check-in as we do not have physical offices but rent our cars through a variety of partnership drop-off and pick-up locations.

What credit cards do you accept?

Visa and Mastercard.

Is a deposit required?

Yes. A deposit is always required and typically ranges from $250-$1,000.

As a renter, who do I call in the event of an accident?

In the case of an accident, renters should immediately contact their insurance company if they are using their own insurance. If a renter has purchased insurance, they should follow the steps in the insurance card provided in every vehicle and contact Cars for Colorado immediately at and 303.502.1772.

In the case of an emergency, please call 911.

What if I need to extend or modify my trip? What should I do?

Please contact us ASAP to discuss any changes to your trip. We may or may not be able to accommodate your request. The best advice is for us to get into conversation as soon as possible to see what we can work out together.
